The Laying on of Gemstones

The laying on of stones may be done in various ways. You can put a stone on an injured or sick body part or wear it on the place where the sickness presents itself. To give you an example, you may want to place an Amethyst or Lapis Lazuli on your forehead above one of your eyes when you suffer from migraines, make sure the stone is placed over the eye where the pain manifests itself mostly. In case of a sprain it is advisable to bandage in a piece of Malachite with the sprained body part. If you are pregnant and wish to protect your child, the stone is best worn on the belly.

Another way to heal one with gemstones is the laying on of several stones on the body. Below you will find an example of a treatment which will free energy and aligns the chakras below.

 

Crystal treatment
For this treatment the following stones and crystals are required For instance:

1. Amethyst or Clear Crystal Quartz
2. Lapis Lazuli or Sapphire
3. Aquamarine or Chalcedony
4. Green Aventurine or Jadeite (or pink stones)
5. Citrine or Golden Topaz
6. Carnelian or Sunstone
7. Garnet or Ruby (or black stones)

The size of the necessary stones should be approximately the size of an American quarter, a British 10 pence coin or a fifty Eurocent coin.

Next to this you will also need the so called ‘generator’. This is a large crystal you use to charge your other gemstones.

Before you start the treatment, change into loose fitting clothes. Take off all your jewellery and/or stones, these could interfere with the energetic field. If you wish you may wear a Clear Crystal Quartz to protect yourself against all energies that will be freed during this crystal treatment. It is also advisable to turn off all electrical appliances and take the plug from the wall socket. Ideally a crystal treatment should take place in a space without any electrical appliances. If you wish you may light some incense.

Place the largest crystal point over the crown of your ‘patient.’ Its point should be pointing upwards. The second crystal point is placed between the feet of your patient, also pointing upward. Make sure both crystals are perfectly aligned. Consequently you place a crystal point, pointing upward again, on either side of the patient at his/her elbows. Then you do the same next to the knees of your patient.

Take the generator crystal in both hands and walk with this stone around your patient, five times and in a clock wise motion. This way the energies of the stones are connected to each other. Put the generator crystal down and wait for a while, enabling the energies of the Clear Crystal Quartz points to clear the energy fields of your patient.

After this you place the first stone, that of the root chakra underneath your patients coccyx. Wait a few seconds so the stone can start to resonate its power and proceed to the next one, the stone for the solar plexus. Place this stone on your patient’s belly button. Wait a few seconds again and continue on the next chakra, working your way up. Lastly place the stone for the crown chakra just underneath the crystal point above the head of your patient. Take up the generator crystal once more and hold it, point down, while softly tapping the stones with the point of the crystal. Put the generator crystal aside and let the stones do their work.

After this you may want to dissolve blockages in your patient’s chakra system by slowly moving your hands over the body of your patient. Not touching the patient, but working in his/her aura. Let your hands open the chakras by circling over the chakra in question in a clock wise motion, a chakra that is opened too wide may be closed a little by a counter clock wise motion with your hand. You may also wish to use the generator crystal for these actions, circling it above your patient’s body just like you would your hand.

Calcite
Chemical Composition: CaCo3
Because of the presence of calcium in this stone, Calcite has a tremendous influence on bones and teeth, protects man against breaking bones and osteoporosis. Against bandy-legs and knock kneed legs.
This property is present in all Calcites, but of course every color has its own healing properties:
Blue Calcite
Placed underneath a pillow Blue Calcite protects against evil spirits, enemies in the night and fires and lightning strikes. Blue Calcite has a heals ailments of the throat, against goiter and thyroid diseases. Place a Blue Calcite between two blue candles in healing rituals.

Green Calcite
Use in case of arrhythmia and diseases of the heart, low blood pressure. Diminishes fear. This stone can be used in rituals and spells to attract money and prosperity.

Honeycoloured Calcite
Use for elixirs and mineral baths. This stone enhances the healing properties of all other Calcites.

Orange Calcite

Carnelian

Citrine

Citrine is a variety of quartz (silicon dioxide) that ranges in color from brown to golden yellow due to the presence of ferric impurities. The gemstone occurs naturally or can be obtained by heating purple quartz (amethyst) or smoky quartz.
